To the Ninblr Zine Monastery! (It's really just a website)
The Masters of Zinejitzu welcome you! If you're totally confused and have no idea what a zine is, not to worry! Here's a quick explanation:
The term "zine" comes from the word "fanzine," which in turn comes from "fan magazine"! They're small, limited-run, self published magazines, basically! At the heart of it all is sharing art, writing, and ideas. That's exactly what this zine is about too! Sharing your art, writing, and ideas all pertaining to Ninjago!

The Plan
The plan is to hopefully make many zines—each with a different theme! You're always free to suggest themes too! (In the Discord server, of course. Did I mention we had a Discord server?) Each theme will then be voted on by the mods and community and applications will open to artists and writers!
Everyone will have a different job, making something totally unique! The end product will be as diverse as the show and fandom we're trying to represent!
But what roles are there to fill?
Well, we're mainly looking for Artists, Writers, and Spot Artists! Here are the descriptions for each of those roles:
- Writers: Will write a ~1000 word piece. Can collaborate with an artist for small art pieces about their writing.
- Artists: Will draw full page art or half page art. Can collaborate with a writer to create art about the writing. Art is based on emotion and a certain prompt chosen.
- Spot Artists: Will make small, less rendered pieces to be used around the zine of single characters or ships.
Of course, if you have any questions about any of the roles or the application process, there's a great place to ask. But I'll never tell! (It's the Discord server, okay?)
